Michael de León Hawthorne

Michael is a member of the Corporate and Commercial Practice Group. He is the Family Business Team Co-Chair, Securities Team Co-Chair, and the Technology Team Chair. His practice is focused on business law matters. Michael has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity matters, venture capital matters, raising capital, private and public securities law matters, advising Board of Directors, business negotiations and family succession matters. In particular, he has worked with clients on numerous matters, including shareholders’ agreements, investors' rights agreements, joint venture agreements, asset purchase agreements, merger agreements, private placements, public offerings, financings and business negotiations.
